Pharmacy Systems Analyst
The Pharmacy Systems Analyst I is an entry-level position that serves as a technology resource for pharmacy information systems. This role will assist in the planning, design, and operational support of business solutions that enhance productivity, efficiency, decision-making, and quality outcomes across Billings Clinic and its regional partners. The Pharmacy Systems Analyst I will also assist with system configuration, data analysis, and operational support to meet organizational needs. Additionally, this position provides technical assistance as a consultant to end-users and is accountable for delivering timely support.
Essential Job Functions
• Maintains compliance with all organizational, departmental, and regulatory standards, ensuring knowledge of safety, confidentiality, and job performance requirements.
• Serves as a technology resource for Pharmacy information systems and works closely with management, staff members and software vendors for the development of business solutions and resources needed to meet business goals and objectives.
• Assists with system configurations and implementation of system expansions, upgrades and enhancements in conjunction with software vendors, Information Services and other impacted systems within Billings Clinic.
• Provides consistent, reliable support for assigned systems, addressing and troubleshooting user issues to maintain system functionality and performance.
• Participates in the implementation, upgrade, and update processes for systems, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions for end-users.
• Acts as a liaison between end-users, technical teams, and vendors, communicating system issues and addressing concerns to improve user satisfaction.
• Researches, analyzes and takes appropriate action to resolve problems with the functionality of the system.
• Collects feedback from stakeholders and end-users to inform and support system enhancements and ensure user-centered solutions.
• Delivers user training sessions for various learning needs and ensures users can effectively utilize system features.
• Engages in professional development by staying current on industry trends, pursuing relevant certifications, and expanding expertise in information technology.
• Supports and models behaviors consistent with Billings Clinic’s mission, vision, values, code of business conduct and service expectations. Meets all mandatory organizational and departmental requirements. Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental and outside agency standards as it relates to the environment, employee, patient safety or job performance.
• Performs all other duties as assigned or as needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
