Saint Francis Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is looking for a Pharmacy Purchasing Tech to join our pharmacy team!

Shift:

Full Time, 40hrs/wk, day shift. Per Department needs.

Summary

The Pharmacy Purchasing Tech is responsible for purchasing, inventory control, and monitoring turn rates of all medications and infusion products, and assisting the Pharmacists when needed. The purchasing tech also distributes medications and prepares stock charges for the ancillary departments and satellites. The purchasing tech responsibilities include Pyxis Tech Administrator and when needed performs the duties of a Pharmacy Technician.

Requirements:                                                                                                          

High School Diploma

Certified Pharmacy Technician in good standing (CPhT or exCPT)

A minimum of three years’ experience in hospital pharmacy practice.

Knowledge of purchasing, inventory control processes
