As a Pharmacy Oncology Clinical Coordinator at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, Ca, you will assist in supporting the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center value-based initiatives for the enterprise through oversight over Oncology P&T and 13 Oncology DRG guideline development committees responsible for development of evidenced based guidelines. You will collaborate with the Clinical Efficiency Value team in developing innovative approaches in managing our oncology patients effectively. Be our designated Oncology PGY2 Residency Program Director (RPD).The RPD of the PGY2 training program to ensure the program is following and meeting accreditation standards.

Ability to work from home 50%.


QualificationsEducational Requirements:Doctor of Pharmacy or equivalent degree from an accredited school of pharmacyLicenses:Current pharmacist licensure in the State of California.BLS certification as outlined in the Pharmacist Responsibilities in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation(C.P.R.)Board Certification in Oncology, preferred or intent to obtain board certification within 1 calendar year.Experience:Relevant pharmacist experiencePrefer completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY2 oncology residency and minimum of three years of additional practice experience in oncology; or has a minimum of five years of experience in oncology practice if candidate has not completed an ASHP-accredited PGY2 residency in oncology.Physical Demands:Frequent standing; walking, bending; reaching, occasional sitting, pushing & pulling, lifting of materials up to 40 pounds for distances to 10 feet. Responsiveness to auditory alarms and communication devices including: telephones, beepers, fire alarms, and mechanical failure alarms. Sufficient mobility to access equipment, patients and other customers. Able to read information on medication labelsWork Environment (work environments, hazards and exposures the employee may encounter on the job):Exposure to minimal but constant noise levels.Repetitive hand motions.Some functions may include incidental exposure to hazards associated with preparation of hazardous medications.Some functions may require use of personal protective equipment.Use of standard precautions for infection control.
