The inpatient pharmacy at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh seeks a Pharmacy Operations Specialist, Intermediate. This role supports pharmacy operations, mentors associates, and ensures compliance with health regulations. Responsibilities: + Develop and evaluate operational policies and training materials. + Train and oversee other Operations Specialists. + Communicate with hospital personnel, patients, and visitors. + Maintain documentation and ensure medication safety. + Keep the work environment clean and organized. + Use computer skills for processing and documentation. + Provide feedback and uphold UPMC values. + Proficient in designated pharmacy roles. + Knowledge of relevant regulations. + Completion of high school diploma or equivalent required OR Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician Program AND: Three years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Operations Specialist. + Must have demonstrated competency in all detailed aspects of the Pharmacy Operations Specialists. **Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:** + Certification in Specialty Area AND/OR Pharmacy Technician Certification + Act 31 / 33 / 34 / 73 Child Abuse Clearances **UPMC is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veteran**
