Pharmacy Manager - Retail
**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Day Shift **Description:** **Position Purpose** Mercy Care Atlanta is seeking a dynamic and experienced **Retail Pharmacy Manager** to lead and advance our pharmacy operations. This licensed pharmacist will be responsible for managing people, processes, and programs that support both direct and indirect patient care. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader who promotes excellence in pharmacy practice, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives innovation in retail pharmacy services. **What You Will Do** + Provide leadership and oversight for retail pharmacy operations, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective patient care. + Develop and implement strategic goals in collaboration with executive leadership and healthcare teams. + Monitor and improve quality assurance, medication safety, and compliance with federal and state regulations. + Manage operational and capital budgets, optimize resource utilization, and drive financial performance. + Oversee procurement, inventory, and distribution of pharmaceuticals, including 340B program compliance. + Support clinical pharmacy programs, staff education, and professional development. + Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and legislative changes to inform business strategies. + Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and patient-centered care. **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (PharmD or MBA preferred) + Minimum 5 years of retail pharmacy experience + At least 3 years in a pharmacy management role + Current pharmacist licensure in the state of Georgia + Strong leadership and communication skills. + Ability to manage shifting priorities and multitask under pressure. + Financial and analytical expertise for budgeting and process improvement. + Strategic thinker with a focus on innovation and quality. + Proficient in Microsoft Office. + Demonstrates integrity and alignment with Trinity Health’s mission. **Position Highlights and Benefits:** + Day-1 Benefits (PTO accrual, retirement plan and match, health insurance and more!) + Opportunity to get paid daily – through DailyPay + Paid holidays and generous Paid Time Off (PTO) + Discounts with major vendors; AT&T, Verizon, Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Quicken Loans, AND MORE! + Low-cost medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.
