The Manager, Pharmacy oversees the daily operations of the inpatient pharmacy. This role ensures the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical care to patients while leading a dedicated team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. The Manager collaborates with healthcare professionals across the facility to promote optimal medication use and patient outcomes.
Essential Functions
Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required or Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required Other Pharmacy residency training (PGY1 or PGY2) preferred 4-6 years of experience as a hospital pharmacist required 2-4 years of progressive management experience preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication therapy management, and regulatory standards. Strong leadership and team-building skills to effectively manage and motivate pharmacy staff. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Analytical and problem-solving abilities to ensure efficient and compliant pharmacy operations. Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and continuous professional development.Licenses and Certifications
