Job Description
The Pharmacy Inventory Technician plays a crucial role in managing the inventory of pharmaceuticals. The ideal candidate will hold a valid pharmacy technician certification in the state of Tennessee. This position involves receiving inventory, sorting through shipments and prescriptions, and accurately entering all inventory into the database. A strong background in medication knowledge and experience in the pharmacy industry is essential.
ResponsibilitiesReceive and manage pharmaceutical inventory shipments.Sort through shipments and prescriptions to ensure accurate inventory management.Enter inventory details into the database with precision.Ensure adherence to pharmacy industry standards and regulations.Essential SkillsPharmacy technician certification as required by state regulations.One or more years of experience in the pharmacy industry, preferably in long-term care.Comprehensive knowledge of brand name and generic medications.Proficiency in English for reading, writing, speaking, and understanding.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent.Ability to work at a moderate speed while maintaining accuracy.Experience with shipping, receiving, inspection, and packaging in a pharmaceutical setting.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
