Job Summary
The Pharmacy Intern II is a graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy who assists licensed pharmacists with the preparation, dispensing, and management of medications while awaiting licensure. This advanced intern role is designed to reinforce clinical and operational pharmacy knowledge in a hospital setting. Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, the Pharmacy Intern contributes to patient care initiatives, medication safety, and pharmacy operations to support optimal outcomes.

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited program required 0-1 years of Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) as part of pharmacy training requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficient knowledge of pharmacology, clinical therapeutics, and hospital pharmacy workflows. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across disciplines. Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a high-paced, team-based environment. High attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and pharmacy information systems preferred.Licenses and Certifications
LPT - Licensed Pharmacy Tech State Pharmacy Intern Permit or Pharmacy Technician Registration required
