As an Intern within Coverage Review Operations, you’ll be responsible for reviewing if coverage can be granted for a medication based on guidelines established by each particular plan. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with Pharmacists, Nurses, and Medical Directors in your department and across the business—and learn from some of our brightest and most innovative colleagues and leaders.

Must be currently enrolled in a PharmD program with a 3.0 GPAActive intern license in good standingCurrently enrolled in ACPE accredited college of pharmacyIdeal candidate has an interest in Managed Care, Pharmacy Benefit ProcessesRetail pharmacy experience preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ExcelExcellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skillsWork collaboratively with cross-functional partnersAbility to focus on results, even under tough circumstances and/or a changing environmentRelate openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people across all levels of the organizationAbility to adapt approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situationsSelf-starter who is eager to learn and acquire new skillsSchedule
Available to work 20 hours per weekOpportunities to work up to 40 hours during breaks per business needThis role is remote (work from home) from a U.S. locationIf you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
