DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Pharmacy and Customer Service

Acknowledge all customers approaching the Pharmacy

Ensure all privacy requirements are met, including, customer confidentiality and consent management

Be clearly identifiable to the public

Verifying the accuracy and appropriateness of new/repeat

prescriptions

▪ Providing prescription and OTC medication consults

▪ Comprehensive medication reviews

▪ Adapting/renewing prescriptions

▪ Developing care plans and communicating with allied practitioners

▪ Administering influenza (and other) vaccines

▪ Maintains drug inventory

▪ Complies with provincial regulations regarding the role of the

pharmacy student and maintains patient confidentiality at all times

Skills: Excellent communication skills Interest in pain, palliative care, deprescribing, sterile and non-sterilecompounding Customer service focused Ability to multi-taskPatient centered focused▪ Proficient communication and teamwork skills, as well as customerservice experience are required. Strong analytical and problem solving skills in order to recommendappropriate drug therapies are needed.The incumbent must be a team player that is committed to customerservice excellence Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills The successful candidate must be self-directed and work well with others
