Job Title: Pharmacy Technician Assistant
Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Pharmacy Technician Assistant, where you will play a crucial role in handling specialty pharmaceuticals and related supplies while adhering to regulations and company policies. This position involves processing pharmacy orders, ensuring the inclusion of necessary items, and managing inventory through drug and supply ordering.

ResponsibilitiesProcess pharmacy orders, ensuring all necessary items are included.Perform drug and supply ordering and manage inventory.Ensure proper storage of drugs and supplies, including refrigeration of perishable products.Monitor and adjust pharmacy equipment as needed.Essential SkillsMust be at least 18 years old.High school diploma or GED.Pharmacy experience or packing medication experience required.Ability to lift 35 lbs throughout the day.Ability to be on feet all day.Attention to detail with no room for error.Additional Skills & QualificationsPharmacy Technician Certification or Registration preferred, but not required.Positive attitude and self-motivation.Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.Work Environment

This role is based in a closed-door pharmacy fulfillment site, working closely with pharmacists and certified pharmacy technicians. Hours are from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with optional overtime available on weekends. There is an opportunity for cross-training as a pharmacy technician, which requires obtaining national certification. The work environment fosters positive energy and teamwork.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
