term care and retirement homes throughout Canada. MediSystem is part of the Shoppers Drug Mart

What You'll Do:
➢ AutomationGenerate automation reports via Kroll pharmacy management software Package medications into unit dose pouches using the automation machinePerform machine maintenance and troubleshootingManage automation workflow to meet workflow targets and schedules➢ InventoryMaintain inventory at pharmacy to pre-specified minimum stock levelsPlace orders for and maintain stock levels of pharmacy supplies or specialty items when neededPerform inventory pre-count preparation and assist inventory count vendorsAction drug recalls and help obtain alternatives when products are unavailable 
➢ ShippingFollow a step-by-step workflow process to prepare packages for shipmentWorking with a team, you will use an automated process to package orders for nursing homes and have them ready for deliveryInvestigate and troubleshoot orders to have them shipped on time
➢ Prescription FillingFollow a step-by-step workflow process to prepare medication orders for patientsLabel medication and over the counter products, prepare medication blister packs, and mixturesUse Kroll software in preparing and labeling prescriptions
What you’ll need:No experience required in PharmacyPositive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learnExcellent oral and written communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail Ability to maneuver quickly and consistently for an extended period of timeTo be adaptable, you may work in different departments to support workflowAbility to problem solve and make decisionsA thorough understanding of quality assurance and delivery of service excellenceDemonstrate ability to work as an effective team memberAbility to prioritize work assignments

This role requires employees to stand for extended periods of time and be flexible to work a variety of 
shifts during the business hours of operations, which includes occasional weekend shifts and statutory
