What you will do (Evening Shift 3pm-11:30pm)

Operating Pacmed machines for packaging medicationsAccurately fill a medication tray by verifying DIN, description and quantityAccurately fill a canister by scanning each medication bottle and following the SOPPick and return medications back to shelvesChanging paper and ink ribbon for Pacmed machinesComplete daily machine cleaning maintenancePackage a batch, including regular monitoring to ensure accuracy of end productMaintain clean and organized workstation to reduce error and maximize efficiencyScanning medications pouches using Pac-vision.Generate facilities medications packaging report using Kroll – Pharmacy softwareFilling out all necessary facility information on batch tracking sheetsEnsure batch tracking sheet is verified by Registered Pharmacy Technician before packaging.Commitment to promoting a workplace of inclusiveness and belongingRecognize liability on the outcomes of service providedEnsure organization of workstation and inventory shelves Maintain appropriate supplies and materialsSome involvement in prescription information management  

What you will need:

Excellent communication skills and customer service skillsDetail orientedAbility to prioritize work assignmentsAbility to adapt to changeExperience working in a fast-paced environment where high attention to detail and accuracy is essentialAbility to work and maneuver quickly and consistently for extended periods of timePositive, cooperative, and team-oriented attitude 

Preferred:

Exposure to Hospital or Long-Term Care PharmacyExperience working in a retail pharmacy environmentExposure to Pacmed, ATP or Automed MachinesGood knowledge about medicationsPharmacy Technician Diploma from accredited college, but not required 

This role requires employees to be flexible to work a variety of shifts during the business’ hours of operations, which include occasional weekend shifts and statutory holidays
