Staff Pharmacist

National respiratory pharmacy, located near I-29/I-35 interchange is seeking a pharmacist. Must have PharmD degree and currently be licensed in the state of FL.  We are seeking a driven, results oriented candidate able to work in a fast paced, high-volume pharmacy.

 

This is a closed-door mail order pharmacy.  Competitive compensation and benefits provided. Monday through Friday daytime hours, closed most holidays and weekends.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

Attend work on a regular and predictable basis Maintain pharmacy integrity and compliance with state board of pharmacy rules and regulations Analyze and process patient chart notes for therapy confirmation Perform drug utilization reviews Evaluate prescription elements and data entry for accuracy, completeness, and dispensing eligibility Consult directly with physicians and patients regarding therapy recommendations and management Monitor technician activity involving data entry, order fulfillment, and phone communication Dispense medications per regulatory standards and guidelines Counsel patients on medications and equipment received from Reliant Pharmacy Provide 24 hour on call coverage for Reliant Pharmacy as needed Obtain pharmacist licensure in nonresident state(s) as needed Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

 

Qualifications:

Doctorate in pharmacy from an accredited college or school of pharmacy. Florida pharmacist license in active, good standing 2+ years of experience as a pharmacist. Must have strong organizational and communication skills and demonstrate a high level of interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written In-depth knowledge of procedures and regulations related to the preparation, dispensing, safe use, and storage of pharmaceuticals. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and other Windows based software programs. Must be 18 years of age or older.
