Schedule: Full-Time
Shift : Night; 830pm-7am, working a 7-on/7-off schedule starting on Wednesday night and ending the following Wednesday morning (week on, week off)
Location: 9395 CROWN CREST BLVD, Parker, 80138
The role youll contribute:
To develop, implement, and oversee operational pharmacy services. To work with other pharmacy managers to assure quality pharmacy services. To coordinate daily pharmacist and pharmacy technician activities in the main pharmacy.
The value youll bring to the team:
Interprets, evaluates, and monitors patient medication orders in a timely manner using the patient medical record and or pharmacy profile.
Dispenses medication in an accurate and timely manner following hospital formulary guidelines.
Demonstrates high tech skill level utilizing a variety of pharmaceutical competencies including, but not limited to calculations, aseptic technique, cytotoxic drug properties, and vancomycin / aminoglycosides.
Participates in Code-Blue and other emergency situations to ensure adequate drug supply and appropriate drug use.
The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed:
Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
2 Work Experience
Licensed Pharmacist (RPH)
Preferred qualifications:
Pharm D degree
A mix of Epic order verification and clinical pharmacist duties (vancomycin and other antibiotic dosing, renal screening and dose adjustments, attendance at codes and alerts, patient profile review, collaborative drug therapy management) with some IV compounding required
