Minimum Qualifications:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
3 of the most recent 5 years’ experience in clinical pharmacy in a hospital setting
Working knowledge of medication safety, clinical practice standards, financial metrics, and regulatory requirements
Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Proficiency with Epic system navigation, reporting tools, and Microsoft Excel
Licensure, Registration, Certification:
Current license/eligibility by the Alabama State Board of Pharmacy
Epic Willow certification within 90 days of placement into position
Desired Qualifications:
PharmD and one of the following:

1 of the most recent 3 years’ experience in healthcare informatics or Epic support
ResponsibilitiesServes as a liaison between Infirmary Health’s (IH) pharmacy departments and IT departments to ensure that technological resources and informatics systems effectively support pharmacy clinical practices and patient care which meets IH’s standards of quality, efficiency, and desired outcomes. Responsible for the design, build, optimization, and support of Epic’s Willow suite including Inpatient, Ambulatory, Inventory, and Specialty, to ensure technology solutions enhance clinical workflows, medication safety, compliance, and operational safety. Leads pharmacy data reporting and analysis, working collaboratively with leadership to monitor system performance and ensure compliance.
