Pharmacist II - Retail
**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Day Shift **Description:** **Position Purpose** Mercy Care, a member of Trinity Health, is seeking a dedicated **Pharmacist II – Retail** to join our compassionate team in Atlanta. This role is ideal for a licensed pharmacist who thrives in a dynamic ambulatory care setting and is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered pharmacy services. You will play a key role in supporting clinical, retail, and specialty pharmacy operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and promoting optimal medication use. **What You Will Do** + Deliver professional pharmacy services in accordance with state and federal regulations. + Review, prepare, and dispense medications while ensuring safety and efficacy. + Provide clinical services including Medication Therapy Management (MTM) and Comprehensive Medication Reviews (CMR). + Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize drug therapy and improve patient outcomes. + Maintain accurate records, monitor adverse drug reactions, and support quality improvement initiatives. + Participate in procurement processes and respond to drug shortages with therapeutic alternatives. + Utilize pharmacy technology and automation tools effectively. + Support professional development for yourself and others through education and mentorship. **Minimum Qualifications** + **Education:** Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy required; Pharm.D. preferred. + **Experience:** Minimum 1 year in retail or ambulatory pharmacy or completion of a pharmacy residency. + **Licensure:** Current pharmacist license in the state of Georgia. + **Preferred:** Experience with 340B and Medication Assistance Programs; MTM certification. + Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and pharmacy technology systems. **Position Highlights and Benefits:** + Day-1 Benefits (PTO accrual, retirement plan and match, health insurance and more!) + Opportunity to get paid daily – through DailyPay + Paid holidays and generous Paid Time Off (PTO) + Discounts with major vendors; AT&T, Verizon, Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Quicken Loans, AND MORE! + Low-cost medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.
