Job Overview:

This is a Clinical Oncology Pharmacist role based within the Pharmacy for Melchiorre Cancer Center and covering at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center.

Qualifications:

Required:

Registration in New Jersey as a pharmacist; current New Jersey licensure requiredCompletion of course at an accredited School of Pharmacy, with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmDIV sterile compounding and oncology experience, one year

Certifications and Licenses Required:

Registered Pharmacist with NJ board of Pharmacy

Scheduling Requirements:

Ful-Time schedule and hours based on business needs of departmentDays

Essential Functions:

The pharmacist is responsible for the provision of oncology and MS patient careThey ensure that the patients receive appropriate treatment including chemotherapy and support medication managementThey are responsible for the preparation, dispensing and monitoring of both the prescribing and effectiveness of outpatient and inpatient care of oncology and MS patientsThe pharmacist has good interpersonal skills and maintains a relationship within the interdisciplinary care teamProficient in EPIC, Beacon and navigation within the systemThey exercise considerable independent decision-making
