ExperienceExperience within a specialty pharmacy is considered an asset.
Education and TrainingBachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Pharmacy or a PharmD from an accredited college or university.Licensed and in good standing with the Provincial College of Pharmacists to provide direct patient care.Injection training (asset).CPR certification (asset).
Other Skills and AbilitiesStrong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.Clinically focused mindset.Experience with Kroll pharmacy software.Excellent communication skills (phone, email, and in-person).Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment.Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working independently.Proficient in computer applications (word processing, databases, spreadsheets, etc.).Reasoning AbilityAbility to solve practical problems and handle a variety of concrete variables in situations with limited standardization.Capable of defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.Able to interpret various instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.Physical DemandsRegularly required to talk and listen.Frequently uses hands and fingers for dispensing activities, computer use, and equipment handling.May be required to lift 25–50 lbs.Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit.Vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
