Experience

Experience within a specialty pharmacy is considered an asset.

Education and Training

Bachelor’s Degree (BSc) in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited college or university Licensed and in good standing with the Provincial College of Pharmacists to provide direct patient care Injection training (asset) CPR certification (asset)

Other Skills and Abilities

Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Clinically focused mindset Experience with Kroll pharmacy software Strong communication skills (phone, email, and in-person) Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working independently Proficient with computers (word processing, databases, spreadsheets, etc.)

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and handle a variety of variables in situations with limited standardization Capable of defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions Able to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

Physical Demands

Regularly required to talk and listen Frequent use of hands and fingers for dispensing activities and computer use May be required to lift 25–50 lbs Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit Vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
