Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Pharmacist to join our team, playing a vital role in the prescription fulfillment journey for life-saving medications used to treat rare or complex conditions. . This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and collaboration within a close-knit team.
ResponsibilitiesPerform final verification of prescription orders, including REMS, controlled substances, and home infusion orders.Ensure prescription orders are completed on time to meet the patients' need-by dates.Assist in the dispensing of medication, including printing pick tickets, locating corresponding drugs/supplies, and inputting correct quantities, lot numbers, and NDCs into the computer software.Participate in all aspects of inventory management, including receiving drugs from suppliers, unpacking, sorting, and entering them into the computer system.Assist in shipping medications by using appropriate packaging for refrigerated or ambient medications, and restocking gel packs and coolers.Essential SkillsFulfillment experienceRegistered Pharmacy Technician (RPHT)Pharmacy (PharmD, RPh)Licensed PharmacistRetail/mail order experienceStrong computer skillsAdditional Skills & QualificationsPharmacy Technician certificationExperience in retail or mail order pharmacy settingsWork Environment
This role is 100% on-site at a fulfillment-type pharmacy, operating from 9 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, no weekends.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
