Job Title: Pharmacist
Job Description

Join our team as a Staff Pharmacist, where you will play a crucial role in the final pharmacist verification stage of the prescription process. You will ensure prescriptions are accurately typed and comply with company policies, state and federal regulations, and REMS program requirements. Additionally, you will verify that orders are filled correctly by technicians and account for all items in the order. You will also review shipping details to ensure medications are shipped appropriately and assist with any stability assessments during transit. Furthermore, you will aid in processing order returns and report pharmacovigilance. Depending on your shift, you may be responsible for opening or closing procedures and taking limited phone calls.

The work environment is at AcariaHealth Pharmacy with a schedule that varies but generally ranges from 7:40 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. You will work closely with other pharmacists and technicians in a low-stress environment, with minimal time spent on phones. The main focus is on prescription order verification, but there are opportunities to assist with other pharmacy projects and gain valuable experience with specialty drugs.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $59.00 - $69.00/hr.
