Location: Inside a walk-in clinic

Hours:

Monday–Friday:10:30AM–6:30PMSaturdays: 8:00AM–3:00PM (coverage required 1–2 times per month)Employment Type: Full-TimeTeam:1 Pharmacist, 2 Technicians

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Staff Pharmacist to lead operations in a small, clinic-based pharmacy. As the sole pharmacist, supported by two technicians, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, accurate, and informed care to a walk-in, self-pay patient population. This position is ideal for someone who values independence, professional collaboration, and direct patient engagement.

Core Responsibilities

Dispense medications and supervise supply filling according to physicians' prescriptionsReview prescriptions for accuracy and check for drug interactionsCompound medications and prepare specialized solutions as neededCounsel patients on medication usage, side effects ,and storageSupervise pharmacy technicians and guide pharmacy studentsManage medication inventory, daily ordering, and automatic refillsCollaborate with healthcare providers to assess patient therapy outcomesRecommend drug therapy changes when appropriateEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal pharmacy regulationsMaintain patient profiles ,medication records, and controlled substance registriesEducate physicians and staff on proper drug therapiesReviewover-the-counterandprescribedmedicationsforpatientsuitabilityAccurately calculate, weigh, and mixing ingredients for compounded prescriptions

Candidate Requirements

Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Maryland (or eligible for licensure)Experience in outpatient, retail, or clinic-based pharmacy settings preferredStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to work independently and manage a dynamic workloadCommitted to serving patients with professionalism and compassion

The pay range for this position is $58.00 - $70.00/hr.
