Job Description:

Verify medication orders for appropriateness, interactions, and allergies using the Cerner EHR system.Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with hospital protocols and state/federal regulations.Provide clinical support and drug information to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.Oversee and verify IV admixtures and sterile compounding prepared by pharmacy technicians.Monitor patient medication therapies and provide recommendations for optimization.Ensure compliance with USP and standards for sterile compounding.

Qualifications:

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) is MandatoryCurrent and unrestricted pharmacist license in Arizona .is MandatoryMinimum 1+ year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience. is MandatoryProficient in IV compounding techniques.and sterile product preparation.Experience with Pyxis automated dispensing systems

PRN role working 2-3 days a week

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $75.00/hr.
