Job Description:
Your main role will be utilizing your clinical skills to complete utilization management reviews (Prior authorizations, Coverage Exceptions, Quantity Limit exceptions, and more). You will complete these reviews independently amongst a team of your peers and other pharmacy professionals. Performance is measured by monthly quality and productivity goals. All new pharmacistsare considered as potential long-term employees with a hope to hire on as permanent employees in the future, but we cannot guarantee a timeline on conversion and contracts are evaluated every 6 monthsforextension.
Hard Skills:

Work Environment:
These are fully remotework-from-home positions, and can be located in any state except California and Hawaii. Core business hours are 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM CST, Monday to Friday.After training, newer contractors typically start between 9-10 AM CSTforregular shifts. Shifts are determined by a team bid based on seniority. Schedules and hours are subject to change based on business needs.Candidates should planfora full-time schedule plus overtime during peak times.Part-time schedules are not available.Overtime may be required during busy times throughout the year, typically November through May. The team rotates weekend shifts and shares holidays.During peak season, the weekends can rotate every other weekend.Outside of peak season, it is about every 6th weekend.Candidates should be prepared to work one of the Thanksgiving or Christmas holidays in 2025.Future holidays are determined by a team bid. Contractors have up to 120 hours of unpaid time off per year. Time off is bidforannually and based on seniority.No time off during the training period, which is the first 10-16 weeks (except the week of Thanksgiving and Christmas). Training will be Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM.Any time off after training must be mentioned in the interviewforsupervisor consideration during the initial 6-month contract. Training is a mix of instructor-led training, videos, worksheets, and practice cases.Due to class size and the nature of training, time off will be minimal during training.The only exception may be the week of Thanksgiving and Christmas due to trainer PTO. If an emergency comes up, we’ll work with candidates on time off, but there’s no guarantee we will be able to adequately back-train.Employee Value Proposition (EVP):

Consultants may also be cross-trained for other departments, such as the Medication Therapy Management (MTM) team or Call Center Counselling (CCC).Additional training opportunities are not guaranteed. If available, production metrics, work quality, attendance, and general proficiency will be assessed.Pay Rate: $50-55/hr

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $55.00/hr.
