Job Title: Pharmacist
Job Description

As a pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and legality of prescriptions, dispensing medications, and providing healthcare advice. You will manage inventory to ensure the availability of necessary drugs and collaborate with physicians to optimize patient treatment plans. Additionally, you will educate patients on medication safety and potential risks.

ResponsibilitiesReview prescriptions to ensure accuracy and legality.Dispense medications and explain dosage, side effects, and interactions.Provide healthcare advice on over-the-counter medications and general wellness.Manage inventory to ensure the availability of necessary drugs.Collaborate with physicians to optimize patient treatment plans.Educate patients on medication safety and potential risks.Essential SkillsProficiency in pharmacy operations.Hold a PharmD degree.Experience in retail pharmacy.Data entry proficiency.Additional Skills & Qualifications3+ years of retail experience.NJ PharmD license.Experience with Prime Rx software preferred.Work Environment

The work environment is a dynamic retail pharmacy setting where pharmacists interact with patients and healthcare providers to ensure optimal care. You will use various technologies for data entry and inventory management. Expect to wear professional attire suitable for a healthcare setting.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58.00 - $61.00/hr.
