Job Description
Advise customers on indications, contraindications, adverse effects, drug interactions and dosage
Advise customers on selection and use of non-prescription medication
Manage the storage, packaging and distribution of medicinal products
Dispense prescribed pharmaceuticals to customers or to other health care professionals
Order and maintain stock of pharmaceutical supplies
Check prescriptions for proper dosage
Compound prescribed pharmaceutical products by calculating, measuring and mixing the right quantities of drugs and other ingredients
Maintain medication profiles of customers including registry of poisons and narcotic and controlled drugs
Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of other pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, pharmacy technicians and other staff
Requirements
Education
A university degree in pharmacy and a period of supervised practical training are required
Experience
A minimum of 1 year of experience in the field is required.
Licensure is required

Important Information
The working hours will be 6-12 hours per day set anywhere between 8 AM and 8 PM. Flexibility on schedule is required as some days will start earlier and others finish later depending on the business needs. Weekend work may be required. Overtime is required.
