Job Description

Utilize your clinical skills to independently complete utilization management reviews such as prior authorizations, coverage exceptions, and quantity limit exceptions. Join a team of pharmacy professionals dedicated to maintaining high quality and performance standards, as measured by monthly goals. This position offers the potential for long-term employment, with contracts evaluated every six months for extension.

ResponsibilitiesConduct utilization management reviews including prior authorizations and coverage exceptions.Work independently and collaboratively with a team of pharmacy professionals.Meet monthly quality and productivity goals.Participate in potential cross-training opportunities for specialized cases and other departments.Essential SkillsTwo years of experience in retail, managed care, or clinical pharmacy.Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science Pharmacy degree.Current pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy.Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.Motivated self-starter with the ability to make independent clinical decisions.Proficiency in learning new computer systems and basic IT troubleshooting.Proficiency in Word and Excel.Ability to type 35+ WPM.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) or Case/Care Management.Retail pharmacy experience is highly preferred over hospital experience.Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $55.00/hr.
