Pharmaceutical Sample Management Technician
Job Title: Pharmaceutical Sample Management TechnicianJob Description The Pharmaceutical Sample Management Technician is responsible for handling and preparing pharmaceutical samples, including liquids and powders, in accordance with internal protocols and quality standards. This role involves pulling and fulfilling sample orders, conducting quality inspections of raw materials, accurately measuring specified quantities, and coordinating shipments to requesting sites. Responsibilities + Retrieve and fulfill pharmaceutical sample orders based on request specifications. + Perform visual and documentation-based quality inspections of raw materials. + Accurately weigh and measure liquids and powders using calibrated equipment. + Label, package, and prepare samples for shipment to internal or external sites. + Maintain detailed records of sample transactions and quality checks. + Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Essential Skills + Proficiency in sample management and quality control. + Experience with SAP. + Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry standards and GMP. + Ability to conduct inspections and manage raw materials. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Knowledge of SAP software for logistics and inventory management. + Experience in quality control within the pharmaceutical industry. Work Environment This role operates within the pharmaceutical industry, requiring adherence to strict quality and safety standards. The work environment involves handling pharmaceutical samples and utilizing specialized equipment for accurate measurement and inspection. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
