Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technician
Job Title: Manufacturing TechnicianJob Description The Manufacturing Technician will efficiently, effectively, and safely clean, set up, and operate manufacturing equipment to achieve production goals while adhering to safety and quality standards. Responsibilities + Set up, operate, monitor, and control equipment, systems, and processes. + Clean and sanitize manufacturing, filling, and packaging rooms and equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). + Execute the production schedule to achieve production goals. + Handle labeling and components correctly, ensuring proper transferring, counting, First-In-First-Out (FIFO) management, and returns. + Participate actively in and support event response. + Review and author SOPs and other necessary documents. + Identify, report, and resolve quality issues. + Execute and/or assist during equipment maintenance, including restoration of lost function, predictive, and preventative maintenance. + Train fellow employees in areas of expertise and learn systems and equipment outside of own expertise with appropriate experience and skill level. + Record and review production data in Batch Production Records (BPR) and associated forms. + Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties. + Complete other assigned accountabilities. Essential Skills + Experience in production, with preference for bio works. + Experience in an FDA-regulated environment. + High School Diploma with 1-3 years of experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). + Experience in manufacturing. Work Environment The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, from 6 AM to 4:30 PM, located at 5235 International Drive, Durham. The role involves working in a manufacturing setting, requiring adherence to safety and environmental standards. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
