Job Description

As a Pharmaceutical Technician, you will work Monday through Thursday on 10-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. This role involves operating vial wash and packaging production equipment, supplying materials, cleaning equipment and production areas, and inspecting parts according to standard operating procedures. You will also troubleshoot basic issues and assist in training new team members.

ResponsibilitiesOperate assigned equipment according to established methods and procedures, including setup, operation, and cleaning.Ensure proper communication of any issues or problems immediately and complete operational documentation per SOP.Complete and review area production documentation, ensuring accuracy and real-time recording.Maintain open lines of communication with management, providing updates on production, deviations, and corrective measures.Exchange work status information within the department, management, and co-workers.Maintain a clean environment/work area using appropriate cleaning solutions and methods.Clean and sanitize designated equipment/tools appropriately and according to schedules.Clean and sanitize required glassware, completing wash documentation per SOP.Handle raw materials and components appropriately, including procurement, weighing, verification, and dispensing.Formulate solutions by mixing dispensed materials and handle components per SOPs.Respond to equipment alarms or malfunctions immediately and communicate conditions to subject matter experts.Assist co-workers in the production of finished products within time limits outlined in SOPs.Receive and ship all plant uniforms and scrub uniforms for cleaning.Receive and stock garments and supplies for clean rooms and sterile core, preparing them for shipping and sterilization.Assist with special projects as required or requested.Maintain compliance with SOPs, GMPs, and all company policies.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent.One or more years of previous work experience in a hospital or manufacturing environment or cleanroom filling.Experience working in a production environment, ideally in a light-industrial setting.Basic mechanical skills related to the operation of equipment.Knowledge and skill in operating specialized equipment such as packaging, wash, and sanitizing equipment.Knowledge of and compliance with GMP regulations, preferred but not required.Knowledge of general computer functions such as Microsoft Office programs.Skill in handling multiple projects or tasks within a given time frame.Advanced problem safety sensitivity and the ability to recognize safety issues.Skill in time management and attention to detail.Ability to apply critical thinking and maintain confidentiality.Ability to follow personal hygiene standards and SOPs.Additional Skills & QualificationsSkill in communicating with coworkers and management in a courteous and professional manner.Skill in math with an understanding of measurements and conversions.Skill in recognizing deviations from procedures and anomalies, and immediate communication.Ability to be flexible in work hours.Ability to trust, develop, maintain, and strengthen partnerships with others inside the organization.Work Environment

The work environment includes clean rooms, labs, and production areas. You will be required to follow strict personal hygiene standards and wear protective attire as required. The role demands a focus on sterility, aseptic technique, and adherence to safety procedures.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
