Job Description
Join our team as a Pharmacy Assistant / Warehouse Technician, where you will ensure the efficient operation of our pharmacy's inventory management and shipping processes. Your role will be crucial in maintaining proper storage and handling of prescription drugs and supplies, as well as supporting the overall pharmacy operations.
Responsibilities
+ Perform pharmacy and warehouse duties, ensuring proper storage of drugs and supplies, including appropriate refrigeration of perishable products
+ Monitor, adjust, and calibrate pharmacy equipment as needed
+ Fill dispensing boxes and prepare them for shipment
+ Create or correct shipping labels as necessary
+ Deliver packages to shipping mail and courier services as required
+ Monitor prescription drug inventory using the pharmacy computer system
+ Receive inventory shipments and ensure accurate product receipt
+ Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies
+ Maintain proper storage conditions for prescription drug inventory
+ Perform cycle counting activities and complete order processing
Essential Skills
+ Experience as a pharmacy assistant, pharmacy clerk, or in a warehouse setting
+ High School Diploma or GED (or higher) OR 2 years of experience in a warehouse setting
+ Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
+ Capacity to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Washington State Pharmacy Assistant License or ability to obtain licensure before hire
Work Environment
The role involves working in a warehouse setting, requiring physical activity such as standing for extended periods and lifting up to 25 pounds. The work environment is equipped with necessary technology for inventory management and shipping processes. The dress code is casual, suitable for a warehouse setting, ensuring safety and comfort.
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.25 - $23.25/hr.
