Operates PET/CT equipment to produce cross sectional radiographs, and PET images, or fused images of both. Measures concentrations of radioactive isotopes in specific body areas and body products to obtain information for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illnesses. Follows rules and regulations established by the NRC, Washington State Department of Health as well as the standards set forth by the JCAHO in the proper method of handling radioactive isotopes and the provision of quality patient care.
