As a Groomer at CityVet, you’ll do more than give great haircuts—you’ll help pets look and feel their best while building lasting relationships with their humans. Whether it’s a breed-specific cut, a luxurious bath, or the perfect paw-dicure, your work makes tails wag and owners smile. You’ll provide services like: + Bathing & coat conditioning + Nail trims & ear cleaning + Anal gland expression + Haircuts based on client requests ✅ What You’ll Bring to the Table Skills, smiles, and a love for fur. + High school diploma or GED + At least 18 years old + Gentle, safe handling skills for pets of all shapes and sizes + 1+ year of grooming experience OR formal training from a reputable program 🐕 A Day in the Life Clip, snip, and strut your stuff. + Manage the grooming schedule so every client’s needs are met and every pet looks fabulous + Average 10–12 grooms/day (with bathing assistance) or 6/day (without bathing assistance) + Keep detailed client notes on preferences, pet quirks, and special requests + Mentor and encourage bathing team members to grow their skills 💛 Perks That Make You Purr Because happy groomers = happy pets.
