This is a full-time, hourly position.
Responsibilities, Duties and Job Expectations
We are looking for a motivated, safety conscious individual ready to take on challenges and responsibilities with Procurement at the Golden Peanut Co. Greenwood, Fl. facility.
Potential assignments may include, but are not limited to:Checking warehouses and manage pest control in those warehousesChecking bait stations at Greenwood, Fl. facility and surrounding Golden Peanut Co. owned buying pointsSeal warehouses and participate in fumigation activitiesManage inventory of pest control items, to include some hazardous materialsDrive a company vehicle over 10,000lbs but under 26,000lbsAssist in general operation of the Golden Peanut facility in Greenwood, Fl.Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:Possession or ability to obtain a Pest Control Applicators license and CDL with a HAZMAT endorsementPossess and maintain a valid driver’s licenseAbility to drive various heavy equipmentAbility to travel (rarely over night) Previous farm work is a plusCommitment to ADM’s goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety proceduresExhibit regular and prompt attendanceAble to meet physical requirements of this position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of sitting or standing, kneeling, bending, working in high areas, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of condition, such as heat, cold, dust, lift up to 55lbs. unassisted, shovel and rake different materialsBe willing to work weekends, holidays and overtime if necessaryDemonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in a team setting as neededExhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitudeWe care about our people.
