The Pervasive Sensing & Instrumentation Field Service Engineer will be responsible for the execution of field services and project, providing support for improvements and resolving customer issues. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Perform routine maintenance and calibration of field instruments, pervasive sensing solutions to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with field instruments, including hardware, software, wireless network and connectivity issues.
Ensure that all maintenance and calibration work is completed in compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and customer specifications.
Provide technical support for troubleshooting complex problems, liaising with engineering teams where necessary.
Conduct site surveys to assess customer needs, determine installation feasibility, and recommend solutions.
Prepare detailed service reports after every maintenance, and repair activity.
Ensure accurate records are maintained for all services performed, including calibration certificates, maintenance logs, and equipment inventory.
Adhere to all relevant safety standards, Risk Assessment procedure and environmental regulations while performing field service duties.
Respond to customer inquiries and requests promptly, providing expert advice and solutions
Attends to customer meeting and technical clarification and provide timely resolution.
Performs Pre-FAT / FAT (Factory Acceptance Test), Site acceptance Test & Commissioning.
Provides remote support to customers via phone call and email.
Coordinates with other engineers/designer/project manager for efficient project execution to meet customer’s requirement, project schedule & quality standard.

For This Role, You Will Need:
5+ years of related experience in field services or as a Field Service Engineer in Instrumentation and Pervasive Sensing solutions (e.g. Commissioning, preventive maintenance, refurbishments, site surveys, FAT, SAT etc.)
Excellent problem-solving skills with demonstrable experience of troubleshooting and maintenance of field instruments (various technologies) such as flow meters, pressure, temperature transmitters or level transmitters and other measurement devices.
Proficiency in network communication protocols such as HART, Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus, TCP/IP, OPC, Modbus, etc.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills to efficiently communicate and advocate service solutions to customers.
Resourceful and self-motivated with high degrees of integrity.
Customer orientated, self-directed and ability to multitask between various service assignments.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
Degree or Diploma in Instrumentation / Mechanical / Electronics Engineering
