GENERAL PURPOSE:    Operate personalization equipment according to customer specifications, while meeting productivity and quality standards.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Sets up multiple facets in machinery software configurations, magnetic stripe writer and readers, camera systems, and inkjets. Sets up, manages and maintains the Drop on Demand print systems on the machine including managing data fields and creating new print setups for new clients.Assists technical support group team members with resolving operations issues.Consults with Managers regarding machine capability or maintenance related issues.Troubleshoots and resolves any run problems that may occur.Remakes any product that does not pass quality standards.Maintains security for user data during processing.Takes on positive leadership (non-management role) with regard to all company policies, regulations, guidelines, and behavior.May be required in assisting in training new operators. Performs other job duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Must be able to meet and/or pass the minimum requirement on a mechanical test or have demonstrated mechanical aptitude through prior work experience.Past experience running high speed machines preferred. Must be proficient in basic computer skills in order to efficiently do data entry.Must have intermediate math skills.Must be able to read a ruler.Must be accurate.Must demonstrate sound decision making skills.Must be self-motivated and able to manage time effectively.Must be able to maintain good attendance.Must be willing to work overtime as needed; significant overtime may be required during busy periods. Must be able to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
