Personal Lines Assistant Account Specialist

The Assistant Select Specialist will assist the PL Select Department in supporting day to day client management transactions. In addition, this role will provide primary support on ad hoc projects and serve as the liaison between external and internal resources to ensure superior service is provided to clients.

In this role you will:Build and maintain constructive and effective relationships with internal and external customers by assisting the PL Select Account Specialists and Producers and responding to client/carrier communications as assignedLeverage Personal Line insurance knowledge and expertise to actively service existing accountsFoster an environment of personal accountability by managing appropriate system records of service, marketing, and policy communicationsNurture professional relationships with carriers with consistent carrier contactParticipate in the retention of renewal business by supporting the PL Select Account Specialists with interacting with producers to prepare applications, underwriting data and related information in the marketing of personal insurance productsEnsure the client has continuous and proper coverage by assisting the PL Select Account Specialist assigned to the client. This includes but not limited to marketing/rating, endorsements, recommendations, billing, ID Cards, policy/quote/binder checking, summaries of insurance, certificates and follow ups of outstanding items.

Qualified candidates will possess:1 - 3 years’ experience of Personal Lines client management experienceValid STATE P&C brokers’ license or willingness to obtain within 90-days of hireCollege degree preferredProficient in insurance agency management systems, AMS 360, Work Smart and EPIC preferredKnowledge of Personal Lines underwriting, coverage, procedures
