Job Summary
The Personal Computer Technician is a field technician responsible for providing on-site technical support for hardware, software, telecommunications, and network systems. This role includes installing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and infrastructure to ensure optimal functionality.
Essential Functions
Qualifications
Associate Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, telecommunications or related field preferred certification in Certified Electronics Technician (CET) preferred 0-1 years of experience with hospital information systems preferredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to replace malfunctioning components in computers, network devices, or telecommunications equipment. Familiarity with routers, switches, modems, servers, telecommunication towers and other IT or communications equipment. Ability to install and configure various types of software, including network monitoring tools and diagnostics software. Strong attention to details. Ability to troubleshoot customer issues. Ability to work independently and be a team player. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to solve technical problems quickly and efficiently.
