OSSD or equivalentCompletion of a Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S.) programAbility to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language, Knowledge of other languages an assetKnowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and other relevant legislationKnowledge of the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)Knowledge of Hospital and departmental policies, procedures, guidelines, protocols and practicesKnowledge of Emergency Assistance CodeExperience in customer serviceExperience with the vulnerable sectors including SeniorsPositive and caring attitudeExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to lift over 60 lbs. on a constant basisAbility to handle occasional to moderate exertion (i.e. constant standing, walking and climbing) on an occasional to frequent basisGood attendance is required
