QUALIFICATIONS\:
OSSD or equivalent
Completion of a Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S.) program
Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend the English language, Knowledge of otherlanguages an asset
Knowledge of the Occupational Health & Safety Act and other relevant legislation
Knowledge of the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS)
Knowledge of Hospital and departmental policies, procedures, guidelines, protocols andpractices
Knowledge of Emergency Assistance Code
Experience in customer service
Experience with the vulnerable sectors including Seniors
Positive and caring attitude
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift over 60 lbs. on a constant basis
Ability to handle occasional to moderate exertion (i.e. constant standing, walking andclimbing) on an occasional to frequent basis
Good attendance is required
