ResponsibilitiesPrepare, submit, and track building permit applications with local municipalities (Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties)Maintain regular contact with city and county departments to monitor permit status and address any issuesCoordinate with project managers, supervisor, engineers, and contractors to ensure all required documentation is provided and compliantRespond to permit comments and requests for revisions from permitting agenciesMaintain up-to-date knowledge of local building codes, zoning regulations, and permit processesOrganize and schedule building inspection within the Cities
Qualifications2+ years of experience as a permitting expediter or in a related role within construction, development, or architectureStrong knowledge of municipal permitting processes in South Florida (Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach)Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skillsProficient with online permitting portals (e.g., ePlans, eDocs, iBuild)Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and problem-solve efficientlyReliable transportation and willingness to travel locally to municipal offices if needed
Preferred Qualifications:Experience working with high-volume or fast-track permittingFamiliarity with commercial project typesBilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
