JOB DESCRIPTION
Provides direction, position plans, assigns, supervises and reviews the activities of the Division and staff involved in the planning and preparation of the requirements for budget proposal; presentation of the same in various bodies such as the EXECOM, DBM, House of Representatives, Senate of the Philippines and other force; Preparation of financial reports to oversight agencies and various management reports to be used for decision making; Provides overall supervision, technical/professional expertise of the budget division of the Department; and does other related works.
Functions and Responsibilities:
1. Provide fund estimates in support of the Department’s operations, plans and programs/project and activities;
2. In coordination with the concerned OBS, allocate available funds to priority programs and projects;
3. Preparation and issuance of Sub-Aros and reallocation of funds including controlling and processing of Obligational Requests (ORS) of different programs;
4. Certificate of availability of funds for all transaction
5. Processing of all financial claims;
6. Preparation and submission of budgetary reports;
7. Provide technical assistance; and
8. Performs other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.

3. Monthly Status of Allotments, Obligations, Balances and Disbursement (SAOBD);
