Apply today! **Job Summary and Qualifications** The Perioperative Business Manager is responsible for management of Decision Support for Surgical Services, Revenue Stream Management, Supply Chain Management. They serve as liaison between departments, physicians, vendors, and administrative personnel that interact with Perioperative Services. Works cohesively with Vice President of Perioperative Services to manage the business aspects Perioperative Services by developing business intelligence reports and analytics to promote efficient, safe processes that promote financial outperformance. Promotes strong and effective working relationships with other departments within the facility. Responsible for oversight of unit from a budgetary stance as well as maintaining timekeeping system, schedules, and accountability records for direct reports. Works closely with supply chain to manage and control costs, acquire capital, evaluate new products, identify cost savings opportunities and ensure that revenue stream is intact. **What you will do in this role:** + Develop business intelligence in the form of reports to drive data-driven decision making. + Manage performance and career development of direct reports. + Approve and contribute to In-service education programs for perioperative staff related to business and scheduling aspects of perioperative services. + Manage Capital needed in Perioperative Services. + Manage business aspects of all PM and other business contracts. + Coordinate quality efforts for unit and maintain any company wide goals aligned with the unit + Investigate, resolve, and document resolution of business-related issues including revenue stream, supply chain, vendor issues, and scheduling process issues. + Maintain knowledge and follows all TJC, CMS requirements. + Successfully complete annual review and competencies on all employees. + Continually look for performance improvement initiatives. **What qualifications you will need:** + Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Tennessee or compact state required. + Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred. + MBA preferred. + 5 years of leadership/supervisory experience required. + 3 years of related leadership experience in Surgery environment required.
