Position Summary
The Perfusionist is an ideal health care service opportunity, operating the Heart Lung machine for bypass procedures, ECLS/ECMO, Ventricular Assists Devices, Intra-aortic balloon pumps and auto-transfusion devices. In this role you will provide surgical backup for procedures performed in the catheterization lab and hybrid rooms, ensuring excellent quality health care for patients and families.Responsibilities
You will support continuing education as required by the perfusionist’s scope of practice You will assist in the evaluation of new equipment You will participate with development and revision of: policies and procedures, performance improvement, quality initiatives, and staff education You will assists other staff members and hospital personnel in completion of needed tasks and makes interdepartmental service in interest of patient care number one priorityRequirements
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Science Graduation from a CAAHEP accredited school of cardiovascular Certified or certification eligible as per guidelines of the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion within 24 months of hire date Current BLS certification Recent Pediatric/Congenital Heart Surgery preferredWhy Mary Bridge Children's?

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $161,491.00 - $232,378.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
