Job description

Infosys is seeking a Performance Test Lead.

As a Performance Test Lead, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the non-functional requirements of existing systems. You will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and execute tests to guarantee superior outcomes. You will also be required to design an optimal test environment to simulate real-time scenarios. Required Qualification:

Basic:Bachelor’s degree with preferred study in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems Management, Math, Statistics, Operations Research, or EngineeringAt least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Birmingham, AL or be willing to relocate to the area.This position may require travel in the US and Canada.Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time.Preferred:At least 4+ years of experience in Performance testing, monitoring and analysis using Dynatrace/AppDynamics with excellent reporting skillsProvides leadership and mentorship for functional automation, test data, and performance engineering processes, tools, and best practices.Serves as a subject-matter expert (SME) on methods of integrating testing best practices into the application development lifecycle to successfully reduce friction, identify potential problems early, and improve cross-collaboration.Researches Artificial Intelligence (AI) including machine language (ML), robotics, and other advanced and emerging technologies to improve automation efficiency and analytics.Participates in PI and sprint planning.Guides, leads, and influences teams in developing technical understanding and skillset through knowledge sharing sessions.Collaborates with team leaders and architects to develop end-to-end QA strategies and protocols for various applications and platforms.Proficient in Performance Testing and QAE.Proficient in understanding of Testing Tools and Integrations.Tools: LoadRunner is mandatory with knowledge of Selenium or Tosca. AI/ML knowledge is plusThe job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
