Performance Manager

Ottawa- Hybrid

Position Summary

This role will be responsible for all Performance Management related activity across Thales’ Non-Combatant In-Service Support Programs, including systems and tools, plus the establishment of all mandatory processes and procedures.

Key Areas of Responsibility  

Specifically, the Performance Manager is responsible for:

Managing the Performance Measurement Systems (PfMS) within Microsoft Power BI, ensuring that data is timely and accurate;

Establishing live connections and automation against data sources, through collaboration with the Integration Management Office (IMO);

Ensuring that the Performance Management Plans (PfMP) are up-to-date and accurately capture objectives, standards, calculations and source data for all performance measures;

Conducting detailed analyses of all performance measurement data (Strategic Performance Measures (SPMs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and System Health Indicators (SHIs));

Offering accurate and timely reporting of achieved performance data, including variance analyses, causal analyses and presenting viable courses of action to improve performance, where necessary;

Liaising with internal / external stakeholders, in order to collect and manage the evolution of operational requirements, ensuring that these requirements always form the basis of the PfMS.

Coordinating and delivering executive briefings;

Fostering team work in the direct area of responsibility and with other teams across the programs;

Championing continual improvement and innovation across all areas of the programs;

Minimum Qualifications  

Degree in Business Administration, Science, Engineering or a related field, or;

3-year Diploma Program in a related technical field from a recognized university or college, or;

Certified by a recognized provincial, state, or federal (national) licensing body in a related field and have a minimum of five years in the last 10 years of demonstrated experience in collecting, analysing and reporting on data, or;

Minimum of 9 years of demonstrated experience in collecting, analysing and reporting on data in the last 15 years.

Strong background in digital dashboard development including working knowledge of merging data, normalization and data modeling.

Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and analytical abilities with both internal and external stakeholders.

A positive, energized and pro-active attitude.
