Per Diem - Clinical Oncology Pharmacist - Ambulatory Infusion

At UCLA Health, you can do all this and more with a primary focus in oncology patients. We are seeking an Ambulatory Oncology Pharmacist for our Bowyer Infusion Pharmacy. The Clinical Oncology Pharmacist acts as the medication management expert by providing accurate drug information to providers, nurses, and other clinical staff. In additional to verifying orders and making clinical interventions, the individual will also oversee compounding in alignment with USP, Board of Pharmacy, and other regulations, ensure medications are received, stored, labelled, transported, and wasted appropriately and collaborate with members of multidisciplinary health care team to optimize patient's medication therapy. Schedule: Varied shifts, depending on department needs, including weekends and holidays. Ability to work a set weekend rotation. Required to have the ability to travel to multiple work sites within UCLA Health. Hourly Salary Rate: $103.31 (Standard Per Diem Rate) Bargaining Unit: HX-UPTE Qualifications We are seeking an exceptionally-skilled and compassionate pharmacist with the following qualifications: + Doctor of Pharmacy Degree + California Pharmacy license + Ability to work a set weekend rotation + Required to have the ability to travel to multiple work sites within UCLA Health + ASHP-accredited PGY2 oncology residency or at least 1 year of pharmacy practice experience in oncology + Board Certification in Oncology (BCOP) preferred + Previous infusion pharmacy experience preferred + EPIC/Beacon experience preferred + Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational and follow-through skills + Knowledge of and ability to perform age specific and disease specific pharmacokinetic calculations UCLA Health welcomes all individuals, without regard to race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin or disabilities, and we proudly look to each person’s unique achievements and experiences to further set us apart.
