CACI is making a significant impact to the Army by developing and integrating the Army's Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army (IPPS-A). The objective of the IPPS-A program is to develop and deliver a single, integrated, multi-component personnel and pay system which streamlines Army HR, enhances the efficiency and accuracy of Army personnel and pay procedures, and supports Soldiers and their families. The Oracle-based COTS solution consolidated more than 50 legacy systems and currently serves over 1.1M Soldiers, Human Resources professionals, Combatant Commanders, personnel and pay managers, and other authorized users. As the Prime contractor, CACI is responsible for operating and maintaining the baseline HR solution as well as designing, building, testing, training, and deploying major and minor HR enhancements, and integrating new capabilities (i.e. Army Military Pay) into the deployed baseline. CACI also manages a Tier 2 Help Desk, knowledgebase and CRM solution to support end users. IPPS-A is managed via the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology and operates in 13-week planning increments with 2-week Sprints.
