Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking a PeopleSoft GL Specialist. Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced PeopleSoft GL Specialist with over 10 years of expertise in managing and supporting PeopleSoft General Ledger modules, particularly in highly customized environments. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of our financial systems. User Support & Troubleshooting: * Resolve issues related to journal entries, ledger balancing, and period close activities * Investigate and correct errors in posted journals Configuration & Maintenance: * Maintain ChartFields (e.g., account codes, departments) * Configure ledger groups, journal sources, and journal edit/post processes Period-End Activities: * Assist with month-end and year-end close processes * Ensure timely posting and reconciliation of journals System Testing: * Support system upgrades, patches, and fixes * Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Reporting: * Generate and validate General Ledger reports (e.g., trial balances, account analysis) using PS Query * Support data integrations with other systems
